We were pleased to be included in Timber Trade Journal recently in their feature on how joinery companies are continuing to invest in product development and production technology.
According to the British Woodworking Federation's latest State of Trade Survey, the joinery sector increased its investment in new technology and equipment last year with 59% of companies reporting they had invested in product improvement.
Within the feature, our Sales Director Steve Kirtley talked to editor Sally Spencer about the growing market in London and the South-East, especially in the residential sector and specifically referring to the increase in new high end residential developments. This is also mirrored in the student accommodation sector which continues to be buoyant and a sector in which we specialise.
As a company, 2016 has been a year of investment for us with new plant and equipment additions allowing us to increase our production output to meet increased demand. We have also invested in new specialist software which is used from estimating through to contract management, production tracking and invoicing.
Our company rebranding which was launched in February, saw us launch new marketing collateral across the board, including a product brochure which highlights our full range of doorsets and glazed screens. A new website was also launched which allows our customers to navigate and access the information they need about our product range and service quickly and easily.
